Advance or Retreat?

January 5th, 2010 by Admin

The Christian Scriptures strongly imply the Age of man ends 6,000 years from Adam. In Genesis, man was created on the sixth day. The number of man is six; imperfect and incomplete. The number of divinity, perfection, and completion is seven as the days of our week. The number of the beast is six deified, 666 = me, myself and I, an unholy trinity. As mankind transitions from the Age of Man into the Kingdom Age, in his struggle to dominate, he cannot succeed. It is only a reflex action in a long history of struggle.

When we read of the end of the Age of Man in the Scriptures, we find a time comes when the prudent action is to run and hide. 11 September, 2001, servants of God destroyed the two chief symbols of Mystery Babylon the Great. The servants did not destroy the power of Mystery Babylon, only the symbols. The world is warned. The foolish ignore the warning. The wise retreat and prepare to survive the greatest upheaval since Noah’s flood.

End time Scripture points to a global population reduction of two thirds. This is good news for all who are sure we are too many today. They will not be required to decide who lives and who dies. Millions believe they will be removed a safe distance from these events because they have been deceived. Hence, there is no reason for them to prepare for Armageddon. I have long seen the story of the Three Little Pigs as the story of prophetic fulfillment. Except I do not believe for a moment, that many survivors will survive in comfort. Only the best prepared are likely to do so.

There is and never will be such a thing as national security. Men at war will say peace and safety and many will take comfort in their words even as they intuitively know the promise to be false. Scriptures are clear. There is only personal security. A man of personal wealth might provide survival security for a hundred or a thousand for a year or two and what then happens if provision is required for six or seven years as it was in Egypt? Where will you turn for security and comfort? This is not a time for risk taking. This is THE time for minimizing risks. What are we willing to do without over the next twenty two years?

The recent U.S. election is portrayed as a great polarization of the people and it is a distraction from the global polarization. The fundamentalists of every faith know truly that the world is divided between the servants of God or the servants of the oppressed and the servants of Mammon or Mystery Babylon the Great alternatively known as corporate power – global trade, etc. In spite of this truth, fundamentalists cannot decide which they serve, God or Mammon. As a result they fight one another, they kill their prophets, discount or ignore their prophecies. Believe whatever you like and you will pay the price of that belief. If most people cannot see this polarization, it is only because they had their choice made for them and they are content with it, come hell and high water. For the rest of us, time is short for choosing.

It does not require a great imagination to see how difficult life will be when trade ceases and money buys nothing. A farmer with no fuel for his tractors will not produce much food and would be a fool to plant crops for the market, forsaking the needs of his own family and neighbors, if he even has any seed to plant. No one will work in a factory producing toilet paper when no one can pay for it or transport it to a market that no longer exists. Shouldn’t we begin thinking like squirrels, storing supplies for an especially long and difficult winter? In spite of all we are facing in the years ahead, life is currently good for the one third of the people who will bear witness to the violent end of the Age of (violent) Man. This is the ideal time to stock up on things we do not wish to do without, one, five, twenty years from now. The Boy Scout motto is Be Prepared. Those who value this motto should suffer the least of survivors. Those who simply go with the flow or fight the shadows of evil will find themselves seeking Boy Scouts who learned their lessons.

My mother would tell me she has been hearing about the end of the world since she was a girl and now she is old and probably could not care less if it does end. My guess is that most folks feel the same way and will not concern their selves with the matter. They won’t be warning anyone that time is short or trade will stop.

If you are one who might want to survive the four horsemen of the apocalypse, you would do well to begin your exit from corporate Babylon. Such is not an act, but a process. The ready alternative is what used to be called the black market. Today it is known as the free market, the underground economy, or the cash economy. Though trade in this economy is also likely to grind to a halt, corporate trade will stop first. Familiarity with your local free market could buy you some time to stock up on supplies no longer available in the Babylonian markets. It could also provide you with funds to buy corporate supplies after your corporate job disappear. If you are like the wise pig who withstands the wolf by means of foresight, you might save the lives of many neighbors by carefully storing survival supplies. Basics like seed, clean water, water purification equipment, nuts and grains, fuel, electrical generators, lamps and the many things we take for granted until we go hunting or camping. Fact is, the near future will be like camping. The better your equipment, the more comfortable you will be. If we are not at this point on the divine timeline, we have lost nothing by caring and preparing. I’d like to close with a paraphrase of the Serenity Prayer: Lord grant us the courage to change what we should, to accept the things we should not change and the wisdom to know the difference.

June 6, 2006 = 666 Are You Ready?

May 7th, 2009 by Admin

Everyone knows that 666 is the sign of the devil and a day which represents this number is approaching fast. Will the first hurricane of 2006 Atlantic tropical hurricane season named Albert do be the devil? Will there be a war with Iran on June 6th, 2006? The truth is nobody knows, but something will happen on 666 or June 6, 2006.

Every day has news in it and every day both good and bad things happen, but what bad things will happen all on 666? Many parents are very worried in the deal even want to send their kids to school that day. Other very religious folks think that 666 is the beginning of the end. Could this be the end of days, Armageddon, the rapture or the day the devil is born?

One hospital in Florida noted that many women are canceling the appointments to have their babies delivered. Several women who are expected to give birth exactly nine months after conception found out that the baby was due on June 6, 2006. You can imagine how freaked out these ladies were, as they do not want to be the mother of the Antichrist.

I guess that makes sense really? A few mothers are asking to have labor induced born June 7th, 2007. Are you a Christian family who is worried about 666? Are you one of the millions of Americans who is worried for your lives on June 6, 2006? If you are; Booo! And

Prevailing prayer

February 27th, 2009 by Admin

It was September 1957, four young men began to pray regularly in a little school near Kells, Ireland. They persevered and prevailed in prayer, so someone was converted in January the next year. Following that, there was about one conversion every week. Twelve months later they had a weekly gathering of around fifty people at their meeting, and around a hundred other small prayer groups had sprung up in the area! They held a service the next year, which attracted a huge crowd, so they poured out onto the street. People were convicted by the Holy Spirit, so much that some of them could not stand. Revival broke out, and every night there were gatherings. They prayed, praised, read the bible, and encouraged each other. They held meetings in everyday situations: kitchens, little barns, schools, fields, and even on sidewalks. They would pray and weep all night, and neglected their farm work so they could work for souls. How did it all start? God used four young Irish lads who prevailed in prayer.

“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” – James 5:16

To promote a revival, we can use two things. One moves people, we can use the other to move God. We use truth to move men, and prayer to move God.
We obviously can’t tell God to do something, but we are changed in prayer, so God can move in us. It’s a lot like how God always wants to forgive a sinner, but He can’t forgive until the sinner’s heart meets God’s conditions. So when we pray, the change in us allows for God to answer.
This is why we can’t have a revival without prayer. The most exciting messages and truths alone will do nothing. Remember, words will never have any effect without the Holy Spirit. We must spend time in prayer, asking for Him to speak through the words and work in people’s hearts. Without it, hearts harden, because they have “heard it all before”.
“Prevail” means to triumph, win through, succeed or overcome. So prevailing prayer is prayer that persists and wins! This is one of the most important keys to a revival. We can’t have a revival without prevailing prayer. Prevailing prayer isn’t just a desire for something. It’s prayer that gets what is seeks, it moves God and has impact.
Looking at the story above is just a glimpse of the impact that prevailing prayer has. Whether we are commuting, working, or at home relaxing, we all have opportunities to pray. This is one of the best ways to use your life for God’s glory: asking Him to move. Will you commit to learning to prevail in prayer?

What to Expect in the Year 2006

February 27th, 2009 by Admin

Happy New Year! I’m sure many of you are wondering what this New Year will bring. Joy, peace, happiness, or sorrow? Let me start out by saying that I am not a prophet, nor do I proclaim to be one. With that out of the way, this is what I personally believe will come forth during the year 2006:

Iraq- Will remain unstable as long as Syria and Iran continue to go unpunished for the efforts in funding the insurgency in Iraq. The United Nations and Europe continue to remain silent on Iran atrocious behavior towards Israel and the United States. Israel or the United States will be forced to enter a war against Syria or Iran.

Iran- Radical President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not made it a secret that his country will build a nuclear weapon and use it against Israel. Look for increased tensions between Israel and Iran… a possible war. Russia will enter the fray due to its nuclear pact with Iran.

Israel- With the Prime Minister of Sharon incapacitated due to a massive stroke, look for an unprecedented political change in the coming elections. The Roadmap for “Peace” will stall. Israel will be in survivor-mode this year as the Arab (Islamic) states that surround her become more outspoken for her destruction. There will be a war with Iran. Look for more Jews from North America to immigrate back to Israel.

United States- Eventually more troops will be pulled from Iraq. However, as the morality and Christian foundation of our country continue to be stripped by the A.C.L.U. and other political parties. The U.S. will rapidly corrode from within making America an easy target for the terrorist. It will be very surprising if America escapes a major terrorist attack this year.

Church- Increase division between ’so-called’ Christians and ‘true’ Christians. The refusal of compromising on moral issues will be the focal point for this division. As Isaiah the prophet said, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20) The true followers of Christ will face an increased battle towards Christian beliefs within the United States.

Summary- In closing, only the Lord actually knows the future. Based on scripture it is interesting to try to guess how things will come about in accordance with Biblical prophecy. With that said, I believe America needs to repent and pray to God for mercy. For if 2006 is anything like 2005, what major calamities (earthquake, hurricane, tsunami, flood, or terrorist attack) will reverberate around the world (especially in the U.S.) to force us to seek the face of the Lord?

“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36 NIV)

Resurrection Faith (Part 1)

February 11th, 2009 by Admin

At the heart of Christianity is a cross; and one of the most significant things about the cross is that it is bare. Christians down through the ages have been sure that Jesus’ disgracing death on the cross of Calvary was not the end of the story. Rather, it was the beginning.

Jesus rose from the tomb and triumphed over death. This was the belief that turned a group of devastated, heartbroken, disillusioned followers of a crucified Rabbi into the courageous witnesses and martyrs of the early church. This was the one belief that separated the followers of Christ from the Jews and turned them into the community of the resurrection. You could beat them, imprison them, stone them or kill them, but you could not make them deny their conviction that on the third day He rose from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the cornerstone of Christianity.

But the question is, can 21st century man actually believe in the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. This obviously simple question is one of the most perplexing problems confronting the modern Christian. Is the resurrection of Jesus a postulate of faith or is it a historical fact? This is a question that cannot be easily dismissed. An uncritical view accepts everything the Bible relates as history. However, a moment’s reflection shows that there is a valid and necessary distinction between faith and history.

Faith has to do with the invisible world of God. History has to do with the visible, empirical world of man and things. God therefore, is not a historical figure. The Christian believes in the God revealed in Scripture, and we believe we talk to Him in prayer and that God talks to us through His Word and His Spirit. But, we have never seen God with physical eyes as we see each other; we have never felt God’s hand as we feel the handshake of a friend; we never heard God’s voice with our physical ears as we hear the voice of a neighbor. John affirms this by declaring “No one has ever seen God.” (John 1:18).

In fact, Scripture nowhere tries to prove the existence of God. It doesn’t seem concerned with this need as His existence is everywhere assumed. It is not subject to scientific scrutiny or historical investigation. Yet it is precisely at this point that the Bible seems to present us with a difficulty because even though the invisible world of God is distinct from the visible world of man, the central theme of the entire Bible is that God has intervened and acted in the world of man in historical events.

The Bible claims God called Abram out of Haran to Canaan. Now, history may be able to prove that Abram did indeed go from Haran to Canaan – but how can history establish that it was God who led Abram to make this migration? The Bible says God delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt through Moses. Keep in mind that this was no ordinary event in history like the events precipitating the abolishment of slavery or events which befall other peoples and nations. It was not an achievement of the Israelites. It was not attributed to the genius and skillful leadership of Moses. It was an act of God; an act through which God made Himself known and through which Israel was to know and serve God.

“Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. Exodus 6:6-7.

History can establish that the Israelites did indeed escape from Egypt and travel to Canaan under the leadership of Moses – but how can history establish that it was God who lead them in this deliverance?

The same problem is inherent in the life and death of Jesus Christ. According to our Gospels, Jesus was the Son of God incarnate. The Gospels relate that He performed mighty works which testified to the nature of His person. But His works were subject to different interpretations. Jesus’ opponents admitted that He possessed supernatural power, but they said it was demonic power. His friends, and no doubt family members as well, admitted that He did marvelous deeds, but they thought He was out of His mind. Jesus was the Son of God only to those who responded to Him in faith.

Today, historians can read the Gospels and make judgments about what men thought about Jesus and even what Jesus thought about Himself; but how can the historian, as a historian, say that Jesus was the Son of God?

As to the death of Jesus, the historian scholar stands on firm ground. History can prove His death. Of course, this is only half the story. Christ died – that is solid history. But, Christ died for our sins – is that history?

Paul said, God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. This is the one sure evidence of God’s love: not God’s general providence; not the events of my own life; but that one event in history – the death of Christ for sinners.

The Art of Concentrating by Means of Practical Psychic Exercises (Part 1)

January 3rd, 2009 by Admin

Select some thought, and see how long you can hold your mind on

it. It is well to have a clock at first and keep track of the

time. If you decide to think about health, you can get a great

deal of good from your thinking besides developing Psychic – Concentration.

Think of health as being the greatest blessing there is, in the

world. Don’t let any other thought drift in. Just the moment one

starts to obtrude, make it get out.

Make it a daily habit of concentrating on this thought for, say,

ten minutes. Practice until you can hold it to the exclusion of

everything else. You will find it of the greatest value to

centralize your thoughts on health. Regardless of your present

condition, see yourself as you would like to be and be blind to

everything else. You will find it hard at first to forget your

ailments, if you have any, but after a short while you can shut

out these negative thoughts and see yourself as you want to be.

Each time you concentrate you form a more perfect image of

health, and, as you come into its realization, you become

healthy, strong and wholesome.

I want to impress upon your mind that the habit of forming mental

images is of the greatest value. It has always been used by

successful men of all ages, but few realize its full importance.

Do you know that you are continually acting according to the

images you form? If you allow yourself to mould negative images

you unconsciously build a negative disposition. You will think of

poverty, weakness, disease, fear, etc. Just as surely as you

think of these will your objective life express itself in a like

way. Just what we think, we will manifest in the external world.

In deep Psychic – Concentration you become linked with the great creative

spirit of the universe, and the creative energy then flows

through you, vitalizing your creations into form. In deep

Psychic – Concentration your mind becomes attuned with the infinite and

registers the cosmic intelligence and receives its messages. You

become so full of the cosmic energy that you are literally

flooded with divine power. This is a most desired state. It is

then we realize the advantages of being connected with the

supra-consciousness. The supra-consciousness registers the higher

cosmic vibrations. It is often referred to as the wireless

station, the message recorded coming from the universal mind.

There are very few that reach this stage of Psychic – Concentration. Very

few even know that it is possible. They think Psychic – Concentration means

limitation to one subject, but this deeper Psychic – Concentration that

brings us into harmony with the Infinite is that which produces

and maintains health.

When you have once come in contact with your supra-consciousness

you become the controller of your human thoughts. That which

comes to you is higher than human thoughts. It is often spoken of

as Cosmic Consciousness. Once it is experienced it is never

forgotten. Naturally it requires a good deal of training to reach

this state, but once you do, it becomes easier each time to do,

and in the course of time you can become possessed of power which

was unknown to you before. You are able to direct the expression

of almost Infinite Power while in this deeper state of

Psychic – Concentration.

Exercises In Psychic – Concentration. The rays of the sun, when focused

upon an object by means of a sun glass, produce a heat many times

greater than the scattered rays of the same source of light and

heat. This is true of attention. Scatter it and you get but

ordinary results. But center it upon one thing and you secure

much better results. When you focus your attention upon an object

your every action, voluntary and involuntary, is in the direction

of attaining that object. If you will focus your energies upon a

thing to the exclusion of everything else, you generate the force

that can bring you what you want.

Sinister plot to immortalize Arafat’s teachings and leadership, or sentimental goodbye among those w

January 2nd, 2009 by Admin

“People on this night are going to be on several different levels. No doubt we are on the lowest level, so we are hoping in this night to attain the honor and illumination granted in it. When we reach a higher level and as it is a holy night in the heavens as well, we will begin to sense something [of the great power being manifested] on this night. Whoever is at the highest spiritual level must be present for this night in the Divine Presence of the Lord.” http://www.crescentlife.com/spirituality/laylat_al_qadr.htm

“Sources in the defense establishment believe tomorrow will be the day on which the Palestinians will ask to disconnect Arafat from life support and announce his death. Tomorrow night marks Lailat al-Kader, the night Muslims believe God revealed the Koran to the prophet Mohammed. The death of the Palestinian leader on that day will, therefore, be symbolic.” http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/498629.html

“The bill specifically forbids Arafat from being buried anywhere in Israel. “Because of his disease,” the bill reads, “the State of Israel allowed Arafat to leave for the sake of medical treatment. This bill requests a ban on his return to Israel or to the Palestinian Authority areas, whether to stay or to pass through. The bill also wishes to prevent his burial in these areas, lest the site turn into a pilgrimage attraction, a symbol, and a source of inspiration for the war against Israel’s existence.”" Arutz-7 news: Tuesday Nov 9, 2004

“”We chose Ramallah because it is close to Jerusalem, where we are hoping to bury him in the near future,” said Hassan Khraisheh, deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council and member of a special committee entrusted with overlooking the funeral arrangements. Palestinians said that after Arafat would be buried there, a mosque and monument would be built inside the compound.” http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/P rinter&cid=1099973628375&p=1078113566627

“Sha’ath said there is no talk of removing Arafat from life support. “We are not really believers in euthanasia. The man is not suffering; he is in a coma … It’s out of the question that anybody is thinking of taking any such decisions,” he said.” http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/11/09/arafat/index.html

Waiting till the Night of Power to pull the plug on Arafat’s life support would have effectively placed him on the “highest spiritual level” quoted above, and therefore, “in the divine presence of” allah. However, as the PA officals didn’t remove his life support, even his burial in Ramallah, complete with a mosque and monument to boot, will do one of two things in the minds and hearts of Muslims worldwide who revered Arafat in this life.

1) Arafat will be elevated to prophet status, and his teachings, sayings, decrees, etc, spread throughout the Islamic world, and be followed even more devoutly than in his lifetime. Thus ensuring PA leadership, that their goals to wipe out the Jews and Christians wherever they may be found, will be carried out in even greater numbers, dedication, and determination than in the past.

In this situation, pulling the plug on Lailat al-Kader would have been a ploy to ensure that policies, goals, ideology, and commitment to Arafat’s cause is further entrenched and carried out. Such a ploy would have taken advantage of Muslim thought and desire on this day, and basically forcing what many call “the new Islam” down everyone’s throat, as refusal to honor a prophet brings harsh discipline.

Burial complete with mosque and monument will very likely do the same thing in the minds of the moslem people, as not only will they come to mourn, but also come to worship.

2) Arafat will receive the burial fitting for a prophet, and many will come merely to mourn his passing, but no elevation to prophet status will occur.

This is less likely to happen, as in order to have his death be symbolic on the night of Lailat al-Kader, moslems would have to admit that Arafat was spoken to by allah himself, and that his death is a sign that his words are to be whole-heartedly honored and obeyed.

It’s bad enough that the IDF is bracing for riots and increased violence in PA-controlled areas following the news of Arafat’s death. But to have millions of moslems suddenly claim Arafat as a prophet will make matters worse for Jews, and Christians around the world. It’s already bad enough that a BBC reporter cried over his release to a Paris hospital. The added sympathy, honor, mourning, and allegiance to his teachings will only congeal supporters world-wide as well.

I see therefore, a potential polarization of East versus West, of People of the Book versus Islam in the coming days. Saudi Arabia is already treating the war in Iraq as a holy war. PA-bred terrorists are already in Iraq killing Americans and other national groups the same way they’ve been killing Jews in Israel for years.

Arafat is not another Louie Riel(http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/index.cfm?PgNm=TCE&Pa rams=J1ARTJ0006837), to be decried, then enshrined, then decried, then a statue built, repeatedly going from hero to villain and back again. Arafat, plain and simple, is a villain on a massive scale. He will be a hero to the strain of Islam he revived and its sympathizers, and a villain to those who don’t adhere or sympathize with his ways and teachings.

I say be watchful in coming days. Whether intended by the PA leadership or not, Islam may have just turned a corner. Jews and Christians beware.

Eschatology – Worldwide Evangelism, Signs of the End Part 2

November 16th, 2008 by Admin

The Gospel Must Be Preached To All The Nations

To what time do the signs of the end refer? Is it the near future? Most accept a futurist position without question. It is possible that we all agree that evangelism of the world characterizes the last days and precedes the ultimate end. What is questioned is when that end occurs.

The key text for consideration of the evangelistic sign is Matthew 24:14. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Some have labored to the end of seeking to ensure the gospel reaches all nations to hurry along the awaited end of the world.

Did We Overlook The Effectiveness of First Century Evangelists?

What is clear from the Great Commission is that the Apostles were charged to preach the gospel to all the world. It is significant that such had to occur before the end could occur. What if they failed or all died out before completing that mission. Would not such create failure on the part of God to carry out a divine promise?

It is our suggestion that these first century evangelists did not fail nor fall short. In fact, they succeeded well in advance of the expected end. Without modern broadcasting equipment, modern transportation, electronic media or the internet, they reached their world in less than 40 years.

Completion of the Evangelistic Mission

Numerous times it is recorded that the gospel reached the world in the first century. The apostles understood clearly their mission and fulfilled it. The Romans letter documents a minimum of three occurrences for completion of the evangelistic directive to all the world.

First, Paul affirms their faith had been spoken of throughout the whole world. (Romans 1:5) Later he asks about the reception of the word. “But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” (Romans 10:18). Interestingly, he uses the same language as does Jesus (inhabited earth) to describe the fulfillment of the mission.

Secondly, he affirms that the gospel has gone to all nations. “…the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith.” Compare Matthew 28:19.

Thirdly, Marks gospel renders the Great Commission with slightly different wording, saying it must be preached in all the world (cosmos) to all the creation. It too finds literal fulfillment in the letter to the Colossians. Compare Mark 16:15.

The word of the truth of the gospel had come to not only the Colossians, but also to in all the world. Later, he uses the term creation, specifying the detail of the prediction in its fulfillment. “…and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven…” (Colossians 1:23)

The Imminent End in the First Century

All writers of the New Testament predicted an imminent end of the age. They saw the day of the Lord as being at hand. (Romans 13:11, 12; Philippians 4:5; James 5:7,8; 1 Peter 4:7, 17; Revelation 1:1,3; 22:6, 10, 12) Imperative in fulfilling the prediction of an imminent end required completion of the worldwide evangelistic mission. The apostles completed their mission in less than 40 years as the record shows.

In summary, worldwide evangelism was a sign of the end predicted by Jesus. He included it in the Great Commission given to the apostles. They took the message to all the nations, to all the inhabited earth, and to all the creation in obedience as faithful proclaimers of the word, –all within one generation. The end-time therefore arrived on time before some living in the first century passed away, just as Jesus predicted.
